What are the core expectations from the platform? It needs enable easy onboarding and offer access from anywhere using any device. And most importantly it should be secure to allow access rights to be configured for different sets of people to different collections of information. For instance, many separate intranets are created to run staff portal either organization wide or by unit or department; or one could be for a leadership team or one for investors or one for a project committee and so on. Likewise many separate extranets may be created – one for key accounts, one for all customers, one for vendors, one for faculty groups with speaking material, one for domestic distributors, another for international trade partners. Notesroom runs on the common cloud platform called Multey to reliably manage people identities; and link them to business accounts and link them into units. Thereafter, we easily and securely map groups of people with sets of information.

One user may hold multiple positions in one account or even multiple accounts. For instance, the user may visit notesroom using the multey-login to access the intranet for a business where he holds Marketing Head position and incidentally also uses the same login to visit the parents information portal run by his kids school. Likewise a user may hold as many positions in as many accounts – and may securely get the multey-pass to activate access to multiple notesrooms.
